      If you have a streaming player, the HDMI cable plugs into the device and then into one of your HDMI Inputs on your TV.  Connect the USB power cable either to a USB port on your TV or the recommended method of plugging it into a USB power adapter (like a cell phone charging adapter 5volt 1 amp) into a wall outlet.  Use your TV remote (not Roku remote) to select the correct HDMI port that the Roku device is plugged into.

      If you have a Roku Streaming Stick, same as above but you will not have a HDMI cable.  The Stick will have an integrated HDMI connector that plugs directly into the HDMI port.
