Tv turning off and i’m not doing it

Can anyone tell me why it seems like someone else is using their remote on my tv? It keeps going through settings and then turning off when i’m watching it like someone else is doing it

    Let's see if this will work for you.

    • Reboot the Roku remote
      -For a Roku voice remote - reset it by pressing and holding the Back and Home buttons for about 20 seconds.
      -For the Roku TV remote - remove and reinsert the batteries. 
    • System restart: go to Home > Settings > System > Power (if available) > System Restart.

      I had the same issue last week. Resetting the Roku remote resolved it.

        If you want to see if your remote is stuck sending a power on/off command (or any command) get your cell phone out, turn on the camera and aim it at the front of the remote. If you see a constant light flashing and you are NOT pressing any buttons on the remote then it's likely it's stuck. Might be a dirty remote power button. Maybe something got spilled on it or something sticky was on a finger one time when you pressed the power button. Just sayin'...
