TV shuts off and and back on when plugged in, happened only after recent update

Have batteries removed from remote, don't have power saving setting on, it isn't my outlet lacking power output. No this problem happened a little after my device was updated to the latest firmware.

My TV is  a TCL 55" model 55S425

I have taken off the batteries from the remote since a few months ago the same problem was happening and come to find out it was the remote itself malfunctioning so in removing the batteries that ended up fixing the problem then. But now months later after the update it's doing it again.

I have tested the outlets with a multimeter to see if the power sourse is ok and it is, i have messed with settings on my TV but nothing seemed to work, I ultimately had to factory reset as a last resort but sadly the problem persists.

I don't use my TV often at all so there shouldn't be a reason for it to be a hardware issue, I'm sure it has to be software related.
