Trying to set up Roku express, can't get past the ROKU banner page, no initial set page......

epomroy, the model number of your Express would help.  If it's one that didn't come with a power adapter make sure the one you're using is up to the task.  Many TV USB ports don't supply enough power.  Try one from a phone or tablet that can supply at least 1 Amp (e.g., Output:  5V 1A).
