The Roku Streaming Stick HD screen is flickering on Samsung.

I’m wondering how I can fix this issue. The screen keeps flickering, not on and off, but there’s this lightbulb-like flickering in the middle of the TV.

I tried getting a Roku 4k streaming stick. It was having this issue, then I tried exchanging it for an HD Roku stick that was NOT 4k and the issue still persists.

I’ve tried using different HDMI ports, factory resetting, and nothing is working.

I know you guys might suggest simply getting a new smart TV, but the problem is, I still like collecting and watching VHS tapes, and I want to have a TV that can both play VHS tapes and stream Roku because sometimes I like to stream stuff too.

Most newer smart TVs don’t have composite inputs so I wouldn’t be able hook my VCR up to any of them.

There is no flickering at all when I watch my tapes. Only when using the Roku. So it’s probably at least partially a Roku issue and not an issue with the TV alone.

Has anyone else here experienced this issue?

And what are some things I can try to fix it?

    Have you tried the devices on a different TV, so we can try to isolate where the issue is coming from?
