The device has no sound and cannot be turned off with the remote after the OS update

Same exact problem here. I have two that are not working. Our third tv is working fine. WIFI/internet on our other devices is working great.  So annoying. After working over an hour on both tvs last night, I finally gave up. Just left blank tv on. A while later Roku suddenly came on but with no sound.  My husband let it stay on while he was on his iPad. Suddenly the blank screen appeared again. Would not turn of by remote. Left it on all night. This morning Roku is on again with no sound. I can change channels and go to other apps but no sound. Will not turn off with remote.  Unplugged tv and Roku!
