I would like to know why any company would place electronics in a closed non ventilated housing. I took my units apart and place ventilation slots in the housing. I sure helps to prevent overheating.

        Hi, Stephen2Eck

        Welcome!

Thanks for your insights. We appreciate your feedback. We have taken note of this and forwarded it to our team for review.

While Roku devices are enclosed electronics, they can overheat, particularly when placed in cramped spaces or near heat sources, such as TVs and other devices.

It is recommended that Roku devices, like other electronics, be placed in a well-ventilated space for better airflow and cooling.

Hope this helps, and let us know if you have further concerns or questions.

        Thanks,
        Roku Community Team.
