TCL Roku TV shows offline in Google Home

I have a TCL Roku TV connected to the wifi network in my house, which is registered in my Roku Account. I have linked my Roku account to my Google Home account. If the TV is on it will show as on in the Google Home app on my phone. When the TV is turned off it will show as off in the Google Home app for a few minutes and then it will show as offline and will not respond using Google Home. The only way to get it to respond is to turn the TV on another way. Please let me know what I can do to fix this. Thanks

    We understand you are having a problem with the Google Home because it was unable to recognize the Roku TCL TV. We're happy to assist you further.

    Before using Roku Action on Google, ensure your Roku device is running Roku OS 9.1 or higher. You can find the software version by visiting Settings > System > About. Your Roku device checks for an update every 24-36 hours, or you can manually check for a software update if needed.
