TCL Roku tv remote stops working, except for home button, why?

My TCL tv voiceless remote stops working except for the home button. The batteries are good. It only happens on the live tv input. It happens on streaming channels and its channels. Not sure what to try, to fix this one. It happens with both remotes.

 Any ideas???
