TCL Roku No Guide Filter & CEC Issues

I've got the TCL 55RC650K

I'm trying to work out if it's broken and needs to be returned or user error.

- Freeview Guide

No way of filtering at all. Have read plenty of posts. If I press left to select logos the guide just shifts the time back. Can't select the logos.

If I go to Settings - TV Inputs - LiveTV then there is no way to manage the channels, just rescan.

There must be a way of filtering or setting up favourites surely?

Ive got two CEC products - PS3 & a Pi based media player. Previous TV allowed me to navigate both with TV remote. In CEC settings it detects both inputs but when I switch to them I'm unable to control them at all. Any ideas?
