Swapping Remotes Between Express 4k+ Device and Streaming Stick+ Device

Hello, I am new to using Roku. Yesterday, I set up a Roku Express 4k+ device (with included remote) to work on our bedroom TV. Then, I realized it would be great to be able to use a headphone enabled remote with that device so as not to disturb my wife at night. I am thinking of purchasing the Streaming Stick+ 4k Headphone Edition (which is sold at Best Buy) for a secondary TV, and then swapping out the two remotes. Will this plan work? Will the headphone enabled remote pair with the Express 4k+ streaming device, and vice-versa? Thanks!
