Streaming devise subscriptions
I'm thinking of buying the Roku Ultra. Do they charge monthly to use it? If so, how much.

There is no fee to set up or use a Roku device. Some channels/apps require a subscription (e.g., Netflix), but there's plenty of absolutely free content available, although you may have to put up with ads.
