Streambar SE remote not pairing to TV

I can not pair streambar remote to TV-I can turn TV on/off with an old ROKU(ultra)remote and use streambar remote for everything else.

In simple terms is there a way just to need 1 remote?
I have 2 Roku Ultra’s that only need 1 remote-I understand the streambar has a simple remote but it can’t be this hard..or can it 😞

    The Streambar SE remote has Roku CEC IR commands preset to the power, volume, and mute buttons that can't be changed. If your tv model doesn't accept CEC signals over the HDMI cable from the Streambar SE itself then you have to get another kind of Roku remote. Like the wifi Voice remotes, your Streambar SE can be paired to such a remote, it just doesn't come with one to keep the price down. 😞
