Strange Roku videos interrupt Pluto

When watching a program an errant Roku instructional video pops up out of nowhere. Is there any way to force it to stop spamming me?

EDIT now it thought it would be a smart idea to spam me with an ad. Do I need to return the device to Amazon? There is no reason Roku should be adding commercials to Pluto or any other program installed. I paid $80 for this device and deserve no commercials other than what Pluto pushes.

    Will need to keep an eye out for that.  Haven't seen anything like you are describing while watching Pluto.

    I am occasionally seeing some ads playing when I am paused though on some channels/apps. (will need to note where next time I see one).
