I removed the Spotify app on my TV, restarted the Roku system on my TV, then added the app back in to my TV. And I still don't have access to Spotify. This happened after my Phone updated. Something got reset in a way that blocks it, and I can't find the problem.
same thing happened here, 'cept my phone does not do apps... it's pc and Roku for me...
Spotify asked me to update my player a few days ago, and ever since then i cant open Spotify on Roku...
I've updated both TV and Spotify. I've uninstalled did the restart and reinstalled, still isn't working. Help please! I love my music and this brand new TV won't let me open Spotify. It makes a click sounds and stays on the screensaver screen and won't let u hit any buttons except menu or volume. Can't find app on home screen after installing it either.
After you try to login on the TV, go to your smart phone and open the spotify app. Select the device you want to play on (your TV) and it should get past that. That is how I solved that problem
I tried and it won't show on my phone as a device, ie the TV.
Clear the cache, check for update and reset your Roku..
Did this, still won't work.
Hi danny i been having the same issue for well over 6 months. I have done all your steps in order. i removed the app / system restart/ added it back. and nothing still black screen. my software is up to date i even did a factory reset to original settings. still same issue when i launch it goes to black screen. this is the only app i have had issues with. can we look into this further please. my tv info...
