Software update darkened screen.

Software update has darkened my picture. Setting is still on brightest. This happened as i was watching and update time corresponds with this same time. Tried factory reset which did nothing to help.  Unplugged TV nothing. 
frustrated !!!

    • Is this happening on all channels or only on a specific channel?
