Soap opera effect on model 55R4AX

I purchased model 55R4AX and cannot get rid of the soap opera effect. There is no motion smoothing option. How can I get rid of it?

The odd thing is I have cable set up with one of my HDMI outputs and there is no soap opera effect at all. When I go into apps via cable there is also no soap opera effect so I know the tv is capable of no soap opera effect.

      We have had the same problem with SOE. Once, a year after we got our Roku tv, SOE suddenly made all movues andctv series completely inwatchabke, even with all 3 mition smoothing advancedxsettings turned off. That first time,  thru research we were told they were working on an update to fix the last update that caused the SOE. About a yr after that, the SOE was gone. Now 2 yrs later, it's BACK. The roku "specialist" was clueless. NO HELP AT ALL! This tv is unwatchable like this, complete trash!  And there are hundreds of comment boards about it. WTF

        Soap opera effect is BACK. we had this issue about a yr after getting our roku tv, then it magically just went away about a yr later. It just suddenly infected our TV AGAIN, 3 months ago. Movies and TV series are all UNWATCHABLE, with strong residual SOE even with all 3 motion smoothing settings turned completely off. Your roku "specialists" are completely clueless! This TV is going in the TRASH!
