Sign-ups from Canada not allowing letters in postal code

Trying to setup payment on an account in Canada and the form doesn't allow letters in the postal code. It only displays the numbers keyboard. I had to type it somewhere else and copy/paste it onto the form. I see this issue has existed for a long time. Just show the normal keyboard for the fields instead of forcing it since you don't technically know how to do it.
