Sharp/Hisense Roku TV stuck on logo

My 2+ year old Sharp/Hisense Roku TV is stuck on logo. Every 5 or so seconds, Sharp Roku TV logo would come on screen for a second or two and then disappear. I push reset button (behind TV, next to antenna) for 15 sec, 30 sec etc... but same issue. I unplugged it for few hours and plugged in, same issue.

Model: LC-65Q7370U

I have not tried firmware update since I can't find it anywhere.

Can someone help?

  • Hello There,

I am also facing the same issue with my Sharp Roku TV.

I tried to contact Roku and the Roku guy told me to talk with the Sharp team.

When I contacted Sharp, they said that my Tv's firmware might be corrupted and told me to contact Roku.

    TV: Sharp Roku TV

    Model: LC-43LBU591C

    Serial Number: 43G1727B0H00857

    Purchased From: Best Buy Canada

    Purchased Date: December 26, 2017

Issue: After Turning On the Tv, it keeps booting again & again and shows the Sharp Roku TV logo. Already Tried to reset 10 times but I got nothing. Even I am not able to do a factory reset because it is stuck on the logo. Put my TV off for 4 days and tried again everything, but there was no luck.

    Hello amerikatz

We're sorry for the experience – this is not what we aim for.

Have you tried contacting the TV manufacturer to inquire further? I'd suggest starting there to see what options or suggestions they can provide. Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support and warranty services for their products running the Roku OS.

You can contact Sharp Support here: http://www.sharpusa.com/CustomerSupport/ContactUs.aspx or at 1-888-935-8880

        Hello sun8enisu

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community!

You can try to factory reset your Roku TV and see if that will resolve the issue you're experiencing. Check out this Support article to know how to factory reset a Roku TV: How do I factory reset my Roku® streaming device?

Moreover, if the issue persists, I would recommend following my suggestion in my post above.

        We appreciate your understanding.

        All the best,
        Kariza

Lol mine is just a black screen now I can’t even get the logo to flash…. SO frustrating and we can’t even get a legitimate response outside of the “have you tried calling _____”

  • My Hisense Roku started doing that same thing this morning. I called Roku and was told to call Hisense and no results. I’ve tried unplugging and the reset button but nothing has worked. Any ideas?

DB731 its probably a lost cause in all honesty.. I have been trying for weeks to get answers along with many other people and have gotten nowhere. Save for a new TV

      Thanks for the posts.

If you are only seeing a black screen on your TV and unable to perform a factory reset, it's possible that it's a hardware issue.

Please contact your TV's manufacturer directly to report this issue and request additional support. Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support and warranty services for their products running the Roku OS.

If you need a replacement remote for a Roku TV, you would need to contact your TV manufacturer. You can contact Hisense here: https://www.hisense-usa.com/support/ or at 1-888-935-8880.

      Thanks,
      Danny

what about my issue? I’ve given you the information you asked for and nothing yet. Fix my tv.

  • Mine is doing the same thing, I called the vendors and they all pointed fingers at each other.  I bought a replacement but hoping there is a fix soon that I can apply to this tv.  It’s only two years old.  These companies want you to just replace it so they make more money.  I’m sure someone knows the true problem but they don’t want to fix or let anyone know.

I unplugged and plugged mine back in about 10 times as fast as I could and it started.  I am afraid to shut it off now.

  • My Sharp 58" started the boot loop yesterday and my Hisense 32" today. All suggested activities tried from discussion boards all over starting with Roku and ending with Reddit. Multiple brands and ages. No way to get to factory reset to undo Roku's "fabulous" update. So, Roku owes me two tvs ASAP. I'll settle for a $1k to include pain and suffering compounded daily starting with yesterday (4/24/22)

      Thanks for the posts.

If your Roku TV is stuck on the bouncing logo screen, we would recommend trying to perform a factory reset to see if that helps. When performing a factory reset, please make sure that you press and hold down the reset button for at least 30 seconds regardless of what is happening on screen. For more information about how to perform a factory reset, visit our Support page here: System restart or factory reset your Roku

If you are still unable to resolve the issue, can you please provide the serial number/device ID on your Roku device? I'll be able to assist you further from there.

      Thanks,
      Danny

Thanks for input but it won't stay on long enough to reset with either the reset button or power button. (Neither have any effect whatsoever) I pull the cord from the power supply, short the caps to make sure they're depleted then plug it in. Occasionally it shows the home screen before it bleeps off just to start boot looping the logo again. I have 3v from the power supply to the mother board, caps, resisters, etc. are good. Everything looks brand new. So, it has to be a software issue. I ordered a power supply, mother board and inverter board..they should be here on the 30th. I will report back with the results. Btw, it's a Sharp Roku LC-58Q7370U
