Selecting HMI port for Spectrum box on Roku home screen every time I turn on Spectrum box.

Selected HMI port for Spectrum box on Roku home screen, but have to select again every time turn on TV.  Means I have to use two remotes to turn on cable box instead of just using Spectrum remote as I do with Samsung and Sony I have in home.  Spectrum remote turns on cable box and Roku with one click, but have to use Roku remote to select the HMI port.  Spectrum remote turns off cable box and Roku with one click.
