Screen Mirroring not working

Screen mirror only works once on a device and then never works again on some devices.

This is seen on a number of Roku players.

Roku Streaming Stick 4K
Model 3820EU2
Software 14.5.4 Build 5949 (Latest Available)

And

Roku Express
Roku 3930EU
Software 14.5.4 Build 5944

The following Devices are not working:-
Doogee S88 Plus Android 10 (This has worked in the past)
Doogee S41T Android 14
Ulephone Amour Pad Pro 4 Ultra Android 14

These Devices do work all the time:-
Samsung S7 Android 8
Doogee S40 Android 9
Windows 11
Samsung A40 Android 11

But all of these devices can screen mirror to the following non Roku Devices:-
LG TV 43UN70006LA WebOS 5.6.0-1002
LG TV 55SJ850V-ZA WebOS 3.9.3-6270915

I notice from the Android Logcat that when it fails I get the following in the log

p2p-p2p0-1: WPA: 4-Way Handshake failed - pre-shared key may be incorrect

It's seems the Roku is not setting up the wifi connection correctly.

I've tried various solutions in other posts like:-

Network Connection Reset.

But that does not work.

  • For the Roku Streaming Stick 4K it is LT-245-890

I've also tested it on a 3rd Roku Express and that has the same problem (The 2 Roku expresses belong to friends so don't have Tracker ID's for those. I also know somebody who has a Roku TV with the same issue)

    Thanks for posting here!

I understand you're having an issue with screen mirroring on the Roku devices and appreciate you trying to fix the issue. To have this investigated, could you share with us the details below:

    • Tracker ID (Press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times)

    Looking forward to your response!
