At home, my wife randomly received a pop-up box on her iPhone for our Roku Authorization Code. Her phone kept sounding a loud alert sound and the flash on the back of her phone kept flashing. There was no way to stop it until we reset her phone. It did list the name of our Roku device and her phone and the Roku are all on the same wi-fi network, but were not using the Roku at the time. What would or could have caused this?

The top match is… this thread… Which makes me wonder if “Roku Authorization Code” was the exact wording on the phone. (Because usually if I search for some words in a thread, and search goes right back to the very same thread, then that’s either a super obscure problem or something was mistyped.)
Other than that, I can only suggest checking the phone for any Roku-related apps. I don’t think a phone itself will suddenly demand information about a Roku. I know some people try to download Roku’s app for their phone, and accidentally download someone else’s app with Roku in the name.
