Roku won’t turn off TV - need assistance

Hey there, having the same problem. Old LG tv, simplink is on, CEC is enabled on the Roku remote. Did you ever get a good answer to this? Thanks!

    Of course! I have an older LG TV. The Roku tile that says TV off will not work for me. Simp link is enabled on the LG TV. The Roku remote will also turn the TV on. But the TV off tile is not functional for some reason. I have a Roku Express remote (no power or volume buttons).

       Try programming remote for your tv again, skip the first positive result by tapping NO instead of YES, let it try subsequent codes that might work better.

        Unfortunately, I've tried that. When I tried, it said these types of remotes don't have to be programmed.
