Roku won’t connect to the internet

Hi all!

Our roku stopped connecting to the internet and our Roku remote can change the volume and turn on/off the tv, but we can’t use the remote for anything else and the app won’t find the device. On the roku homescreen it says “not connected” in the top right corner. Our internet and wifi are working perfectly and have not changed. 

So far we have - 

1. unplugged the roku, and plugged it back in.

2. Reset the wifi.

what else can we do to fix this? We’ve had the roku about 3 months.

    Is it a stick that plugs directly into the TV and has a USB cable with the Wi-Fi module embedded in it?

      Thanks so much for the response! 

      The stick plugs into the TV. We pressed the reset button on the Roku and it seems to be working for now!

        Where is the reset button? on sticck? I'm totally new to Roku.

    Same issue here — strong internet signal & all of our other 3 ROKU sticks work just fine..but, of course the main one we use in the living room is having the same issues you just described.  Have reset router, unplugged the stick, reset the stick, turned off both router & ROKU waited an hour reset both & still no internet connection.  Also, performed all of the tests described in by HoneyMay4046.
