Roku will no longer connect to the router's Wi-Fi.

I have been running my Roku premier streaming stick from a network extender that is connected wirelessly to a cox panoramic router. Everything had been working great up until yesterday. All of a sudden my Roku will no longer connect to the routers wifi. But it still connects to my mobile hotspot fine. None of the routers settings have been changed recently. I ran system updates on Roku, reset network settings, power cycled both router and Roku, and everything else that has been suggested online. I've even tried factory resetting both Roku and extender and set back up from scratch. What would cause it to suddenly not connect when it has been connected just fine for like 3 months, and nothing has changed,? How can I fix this very frustrating issue??

Saw you're having trouble connecting your Roku Premiere to the network. Based on what you’ve shared, it looks like your ISP may have made a change that’s causing the issue.

We recommend reaching out to your ISP directly, as they should be able to help resolve what’s causing the connection issue with your Roku Premiere.

Let us know how it goes or if you have any questions along the way!

If you have the Premiere 3920, you will need to verify that the "wireless mode" setting under your 2.4ghz band is set to b/g/n.

You may need Cox to make this change for you depending on your router model number.

You can try going to your web browser and going to 192.168.0.1 to login to your admin portal.  The default username=admin and password=password.  You may need to disable "band steering" in order to make changes.

You may encounter a message indicating that you need to download the Cox app to make changes.  Unfortunately, you cannot make these changes via the app so if you are unsuccessful in making the changes, contact Cox and verify that all three speed protocols b/g/n are enabled.  Many Cox routers reportedly only have "n" enabled.

Additionally, try and narrow down if issue is router or the extender.  Try connecting to the router directly.  If successful, then router settings are correct and the issue is likely the extender.
