Roku will no long connect to wifi or hotspot

Roku was working fine up until yesterday. The internet connection started going in and out connected to the wifi but wifi working in other rooms and on othwr devices. I performed a connection test and after doing so it would no longer connect to the wifi. I connected the roku to my Hotspot (not ideal but figured it would get me through the night) it lasted a few hours and started doing the same thing, having a choppy connection. I performed a connection test and it would no longer connect to the hot spot or the wifi. I restarted roku device. I restarted router. I have restarted my hot spot. I have unplugged roku device for several minutes. I reset network connection and attempted to reenter passwords for both wifi and hit spot, neither would work still. I factory rest my roku device and it will still not connect via wifi nor Hotspot. Wifi and Hotspot are working properly on other devices. Please help. Model 3920RW - roku premiere. Software version 14.5.4 build 5944-91 issue ID 70-145-285

The 3920 is a bit older device and is also a 2.4ghz-only device. (will not see or connect to 5ghz band of a network).

My 3921 is still running fine, so presuming that the age of device and some internal hardware/antenna failure is not the culprit, you will need to verify that the 2.4ghz band of your network is still enabled/on and verify that it is configured to use a Wireless Mode/Protocol of b/g/n.  Then verify that it is only using a Wireless Channel between 1 and 11.  Try lowering the Bandwidth/Channel Width to 20mhz.  Finally, verify that under the Security settings (wifi password), you are using WPA2-Personal.

For the hotspot, also make sure that the 2.4ghz band is enabled or look for a setting similar to 'Maximize Compatibility" that will enable the 2.4ghz as well as the 5ghz bands for devices to connect to.

Are you getting a specific error message number in the message box?
