Roku voice remote not working with orange light

Me too. Just hooked up a Soundbar SE to my LG tv and it seems the LG remote works OK but the older (1-2 years) ROKU voice remote I want to use does not. As the others, I've changed the batteries and paid attention to their orientation. Just get an orange light.

    Welcome to Roku!

    It looks like you're having some issues with your Roku remote, as it only gives you an orange light and does not work. To make sure the pairing is successful, please follow these steps:

    • If your voice remote has a pairing button, on the back of the remote or under the battery cover. Press and hold the pairing button for 5 seconds, or until you see the status light begin to flash.
    • If your voice remote does not have a pairing button, press and hold the Back and Home buttons for 5 seconds, or until you see the status light begin to flash.
