Roku Ultra remote finder beeping won't turn off

Issue is not remote, it's Ultra. Because even if I chuck the remote and use the app remote, the goshd_ 'click any button to stop the annoying beeping' comes up after every click on the app remote. A nice little design flaw is that under remote finder settings, there are three sound choices but not a disable this feature choice. Very nice indeed, as David Gilmour might say! Device is 2 years old so, is it hammer time, Roku? Thanks.

    Try unplugging the Roku Ultra for a minute or so to see if that resolves issue.  If not, press and wiggle the physical "find remote" button that is located on the top left of the Ultra device itself. (may have become depressed or tacky with dust).
