Roku ultra rechargeable remote not working correctly

There is no pairing button on my re-chargeable remote. I have unplugged device and started over but remote still will not pair with TV. Please help. I've been trying to get this to work for 2 hours.

    I understand that you are having trouble pairing your Roku remote without a pairing button, and I'm here to help. 

    Follow the instructions below to pair your Roku remote without a pairing button.

    1. If the remote doesn't have a Pairing button, press and hold Home and Back for five seconds
    2. If the light doesn't flash, try charging the remote.
    3. Wait for the pairing dialogue to appear on your TV. 

    If your Roku remote does not initiate the pairing, you can try to perform this first.

    1. Restart your streaming device to enter pairing mode 
    2. When your streaming device is powered on, it will automatically enter pairing mode
