I used the reset button in the remote and re-paired the remote. I will let you know if it continues to work.
It lost contact again. Resetting the remote did not work.
As I said 13 worked, the remote did not disconnect, but none of the apps work, that's why Roku did a roll back.
I am not a novice with Rokus, I have probably had a dozen and this is the only time the remote has given a problem. Other rokus work, but the one I want to use on this tv is the Ultra.

The Roku 4630 is not Roku Ultra, its Premiere plus, very old model. It was top of the line when it was released, but it was replaced with Roku Ultra, let's see there have been many models of Ultra since, 4640, 4660, 4670, 4800, 4802, and now just announced today the 4850. There are usually two or three years between releases. Your model is over ten years old!!!

And I should add, they have not told me that it is out of support, but they issued two updates that broke it in different ways. The 12 release broke the remote and the 13 release effectively bricked it, no apps worked.

Ah, thanks. I see that now. I understand that it's old, but I'm not buying another Roku because Apple TV works a lot better. This is just for a kitchen tv.
