Roku Ultra CEC Not Working

I went and upgraded to an Ultra from my 4660X2 older ultra and the CEC no longer works.  Instead of my Onkyo receiver volume being changed, it is changing the audio on the TV that has the speakers disabled.  So far I have tried everything, and I am about to send the darn thing back.  

Is there any cable version requirement?  Some other weird trick?  I have the One Click on and it does power on the TV and receiver by hitting a button just the audio is not getting to the receiver unlike the previous Roku.

    Thanks for the post.

    We would be more than happy to look further into this issue, but will need more information. Can you please provide us the following information:

    • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
    • does this issue occur on a specific channel? if so, what channel and what version/build is the channel (this can be found be selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button)
    • tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times and provide us with this ID)
    • steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing
    • when did you start seeing this issue occur

    Once we have this information, we will be able to pass it along to the appropriate Roku team to investigate further.

      I got the problem solved with a DM from someone else.  Helped me get into a hidden menu and adjust the changes.  I get why it is hidden, there is no feed back for changes made and so you do not know the status.  Might get to where you need to factory restore if you muck about too much.

        Can you share how to get into this hidden menu? I have the same issue. A roku ultra has never controlled volume like my roku stick 4K, and the ultra lt worked until I unpaired and re-paired the remote, then the same remote on the same roku stopped controlling the volume.
