Roku Ultra 4802 set up stalled after updating software restart

While it was updating and restarting I used the charging cable for the remote. Then neither tv or Roku remote has any effect. Powered off the tv. The display shows wireless:  but neither remote will let me arrow right to Set up new wireless connection. Don't know why I was able to enter my wireless into successfully the first try.  Is there something about the new updated software that doesn't like my old dumb Sony tv?
