Roku Ultra 2024 Volume Button Works Intermittently

I am having to press the volume button multiple times or harder to get the volume to respond.  This happens in IR mode as well as CEC mode.

When it does respond, it jumps multiple volume levels.  It's as if it is stuck down.

The Roku Ultra and remote are brand new and have done this since unboxing.

    Here’s what you can do...

    Reset your remote by pressing and holding the Back and Home buttons simultaneously for about 20 seconds. After doing so, pair it again and check if this makes any difference.

      I've done this multiple times but it does not help.

      I believe this is a mechanical issue.  There is a defect with the remote.  How do I get Roku to replace it?

        I appreciate you for performing the steps suggested by RokuJharra-Q in this thread.

        To ensure that your Roku remote is properly set with the Volume control, let's perform the steps below.

        1. Press Home 
           
           on your Roku voice remote
        2. Scroll and select Settings
        3. Select Remotes & devices
        4. Select Remote
        5. Choose your voice remote from the list and select Set up remote for TV control
        6. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process

        Your Roku device plays music to help during the setup process. If you do not hear the music or it does not mute correctly, review the troubleshooting steps for setting up your Roku voice remote to control power and volume on your TV.

        Once performed, please observe the function of the Volume button.
