Roku Ultra 2022 Voice Control Issues

I have a Roku Ultra 2022 edition with rechargeable voice remote that is around 6 months old. All of the sudden, we keep getting our streaming interrupted with popups saying listening as if we hit the voice feature on the remote. The voice function is turned off and the remote isn't being touched. I have tried rebooting the box and re-pairing the remote, but the issue is still present. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the Roku Community, Vicamy3!

Thanks for reaching out. We'd be happy to suggest further troubleshooting steps to help you fix this.

We appreciate the troubleshooting steps you've taken so far by rebooting your Roku Ultra and re-pairing your physical remote. This time, let's try to reboot your remote. Kindly follow the steps provided below:

    • If your rechargeable voice remote has a pairing button, press and hold the pairing button on the back of the remote for 20 seconds.
    • If your rechargeable voice remote does not have a pairing button, press and hold the Back and Home for 20 seconds.

Please keep us posted on how it goes!

    Best regards,
    Carly

      Good morning,

Thank you for your reply! Unfortunately, I have tried the steps you suggested, and the issue still persists. It seems to stop for a little while, but eventually happens again.

Thanks for keeping us posted, Vicamy3!

Did your Roku Ultra recently receive any software updates prior to this happening that might trigger the issue?

Furthermore. kindly provide us with additional information such as follows:

        • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and current software version. (this can all be found in Settings > System > About)
        • A photo of what you are seeing on your screen whenever the issue prompts.

        Your response is highly anticipated!

        Best regards,
        Carly
