Roku TV will not connect to WiFi

I have 2 Roku tvs that I have not used in 3 months.  I have a new Verizon orbi jet pack and I connected to the WiFi but I get a message can’t update software.  Please wait a few minutes and try again.  What is the problem?  I’ve been working on this over a week and cannot watch my tv

    If you can, try connecting to your phone's hotspot to get through the update and then try the Verizon orbi jet pack again.
