Roku TV stuck on set up language screen and remote won't work

Roku TV stuck on set up language screen and remote won't work to select English but will allow me to change volume, go back, home etc all other options work except selecting language. I can’t even select Français either 😞 

 

im trying to set up my Telus digital box so I can watch the oilers playoffs (and I am paying for it) but my tv won’t move passed this darn set up stage

    Are you sure that's a Roku TV?  The screen doesn't look right and I don't see "Roku" anywhere on the TV.

    Thanks for reaching out. The photo you have posted is not the Roku setup screen, and you may not have a Roku TV. 

    If you are trying to activate your current TV, you can reach out to the manufacturer's support for further assistance.
