Roku TV Screen mirroring not working anymore

Screen mirroring stopped working today. Followed every step in this discussion, nothing worked.

Model: 5315X - Roku TV

Software version: 11.5.0 build 4312-12

issue ID: 87-494-969

Was working yesterday. Now it fails almost immediately, the purple "connection" screen comes up, but fails before any progress bar is displayed. Connection fails on 3 different devices (two phones and a laptop). Tried all the steps, including changing the wireless to 2.4Ghz and a full factory reset.

Please advise.

    Can you please provide more detailed information about the issue you are experiencing?

    • what brand, model and OS are the devices you are trying to screen mirror
    • what are the exact steps to reproduce the issue
    • can you provide a screenshot of what you are seeing on screen when this issue occurs

      Brand, Model, OS: 1) Acer. System Model Swift SFX16-51G, OS Name Microsoft Windows 11 Home
                                     2) Samsung. Galaxy A5. Android version 8.0.0

      Steps to reproduce: Press "smart view" on phone. Press "Connect to a wireless display" on laptop.

      Screenshot: Not much to see.The purple screen cast icon appears on the TV for about 2 seconds, then briefly goes black, then returns to the home screen.
