Roku TV Pro Series Color Saturation

Just purchased the 65" TV Pro Series and appears on some DVR recorded shows via Homerun/Plex, the color to get over saturated and sometimes just outright wrong such as white napkins becoming green.  I didn't have this problem on my previous Vizio TV with a Roku Ultra 4K.  Curious if there is some color correcting technology and if it can be turned on/off.  Thanks.

We appreciate the additional details. Your Roku TV system has multiple preset picture modes that adjust the appearance of the image to suit your preferences and viewing environment.

Changing the picture mode can provide enhancements, especially given the wide range of input signal types from devices like cable and satellite boxes, Blu-ray players, or game consoles and the quality of those signals.

To change picture modes, start streaming a movie or TV show or switch to the Live TV, HDMI, or AV input where your other devices are connected.

    1. Press Star * on your Roku remote to open the TV Settings menu
    2. Select Picture Settings
    3. Select Picture Mode
    4. Change the picture mode using the left and right buttons on your remote

Tip: Your TV stores unique picture mode settings for each video input. For example, you can connect your cable box to the HDMI 1 input and select the Vivid picture mode, and when streaming content, you can select the Movie picture mode. When you switch between the inputs, your TV remembers your preferences and switches back to the picture mode you selected for each input.

    Hi tommyjw6206,

    Greetings from the Roku Community!

Thank you for contacting us about the color saturation issue on your Roku device. We'd like to know more specific details to determine the problem you are experiencing.

    • When did the issue start?
    • Is the issue happening on all content or channels, or is this isolated to one content or channel? (Specify)
    • What software version is your Roku device currently running? (Settings > System > About)
    • What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?
    • Have you tried removing the channel you observed this issue on from the Roku home screen? Then, restart your device. Once it loads up again, add the channel and try playing content again.

In the meantime, we recommend updating the software and restarting the system of your Roku device to see if the issue persists.

Please keep us updated on your findings, and we will continue to assist you further.

    All the best,
    Chel

      • When did the issue start?  When I bought the Roku TV.
      • Is the issue happening on all content or channels, or is this isolated to one content or channel? It is happening when playing recorded over-the-air content from Plex of old tv shows like Alice.  if playing anything native blu ray on Plex, it is very pretty.
      • What software version is your Roku device currently running? (Settings > System > About) 13.1.4 build 1510-H1
      • What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?  Gone through the menu system to see if there is a color intensity setting.
      • Have you tried removing the channel you observed this issue on from the Roku home screen? Then, restart your device. Once it loads up again, add the channel and try playing content again.  No, i don't see a need for doing that noting the blu ray quality above.

      Thanks!
