Roku TV not passing through DTS to Vizio sound bar

I have a 2024 Roku TV model 32R3B5 and I recently hooked up a Vizio V20-J8 compact sound bar via HDMI-eArc.  The setup works great but I do not get any sound from the sound bar when playing DTS audio content.  Dolby 5.1 passthrough works fine.  I have tried changing Digital output format to Auto, Passthrough and Custom (turning DTS On) but do not get any sound.  I have noticed that if I have the sound bar off, that Plex detects that the TV cannot play DTS and transcodes to AC3.  With the sound bar on, Plex can see that DTS is supported and plays it direct.  Either the DTS signal is not reaching the sound bar or perhaps the sound bar is failing to play it.   The Vizio sound bar does support DTS and it should play  it without issue.
