ROKU TV is only device that keeps disconnecting from modem:

I have neglected to write here due to getting no help prior with a situation. I am writing now because I am frustrated with the product for months and months now. The TV is the only device in the house here which disconnects from the network about 1 time each hour. Then it must be restarted. I need this thing replaced or help fixing the issue.

TCL Model > 40FS3750

Hardware ID > 5135X

Software Version > 14.1

Device ID > 8JN4A0013071

  • What brand/model of router are you using?

    Have you checked to make sure the firmware is up to date on your router?

    How far is the router from your TV?
    Have you tried hardwiring the TV to the router?

    You also might want to reach out to TCL technical support and see if they can also provide some guidance for their TV.  TCL Support

      Modem/Router is CenturyLInk PK5001Z

      Firmware is up to date with latest available.

      TV is 15 feet from modem.

      Hardwiring to router tv works fine.
