Roku TV has a vertical line through the middle of the TV.

How do I get rid of the vertical line in the middle of my Roku TV that is less than a year old?

    Hi, jojomejojo

    Welcome!

I understand your concern regarding the vertical lines on your Roku TV.

Lines on the screen indicate that when any part of a TV's display gets damaged, corrupted, or defective, lines can appear on the screen. Some TV parts that can cause horizontal lines to appear are the LCD panel, T-Con board, or row drivers, which are part of the system's hardware damage.

To address the issue, it is best to contact your Roku TV manufacturer.

For more information, you can visit this link on How to Contact support for the Manufacturer of Your Roku TV

I hope this helps, and keep us posted if you have further concerns or inquries.

    Thanks,
    Roku Community Team.

If you’re watching the new season of Severance, the vertical line is deliberate and I’m not sure what it means.   Some kind of artistic element that may reveal itself in a future episode.
  • A vertical line usually means that a portion of the display screen is defective or going bad.  You should reach out to the manufacturer for warranty/tech support.
