Roku TV crashing back to the Home screen

My Roku TV will kick me out of the channel and bring me back to the menu.  It can be as soon as 3 seconds in or 30 minutes in.  I will have to start the same show or movie multiple times just to finish it.  It is very frustrating since a 1 hour long show will take an extra 30 min because I have to wait for the menu to load, wait for the channel to load, wait for the show to load.  I have tried all the “troubleshooting” suggestions to no avail.  The other community posts on here that have the same issue has comments blocked, why Roku? Are we not allowed to talk about this persistent problem that can’t be fixed by your suggestions?

    Is it a specific app where you see this?  Around 4 years ago, I had one app (Shout TV) that that would crash to the home screen when playing certain videos. It happened no where else, so, I'm pretty sure that was just a bug in that app.

      Unfortunately it’s all of the apps.
