Roku suddenly will not connect, have tried all suggestions

I have a Roku model #4660X. Last week while watching, it suddenly stopped working. There was a Roku update during this time. I have split my network and connected to 2.4 Ghz, on channel 1, changed security to WPA 3 personal/transition (also tried 3 personal, and 2). I have reset, factory reset, rebooted my router as well as Roku numerous times. It will connect and play w my wifi hotspot. It will act like it's connected to 2.4 network, says my signal is strong, but no apps will work. I have dug through every article I can find on this topic. What gives Roku??? I just want to watch TV and please do NOT suggest getting a new Roku, I will not buy into planned obsolescence. I'll just use my Chromecast if I that is what it comes to. This thing is not old enough to replace.

    The Roku Ultra 4660 is not wifi6(ax) compatible.  Therefore, you cannot use wifi mode AX, or its accompanying WPA3 security protocol.  Additionally, this model cannot use DFS channels (52-140).

    As such, if using the 2.4ghz band, try using a channel between 1-11, with 1, 6, 11 preferred, setting the wifi/wireless Mode to b/g/n, using WPA2-Personal (PSK) security protocol, and lowering the bandwidth/channel width to 20mhz.

    If using the 5ghz band, verify that you are using a non-DFS channel 36-48, or 149-161, have the wifi/wireless Mode set to include n/AC, using the WPA2-Personal (PSK), and try some lower bandwidth/channel widths like 40/80mhz for troubleshooting. (can then try adjusting upwards after successfully connecting).

    For the above, try using WPA2-only when setting up the security protocol.  After successfully connecting, then can try WPA2/WPA3-transition (transitional). This will help to eliminate if a router firmware issue is incorrectly handling the authentication when WPA3-transition is enabled.  

    Also, make sure you have not paused/blocked your Roku Ultra in any mobile ISP or router app if you are currently using.

    Feel free to post your router model number, the ISP (internet service provider), and any error message numbers you are seeing if still having issues.
