Roku stuck on set up language screen and remote won't sync help

Remote wouldn't sync so I hard reset the roku by pressing reset button on back. It went to setup language page but when I tried holding sync button in battery department. Nothing happens. Help

Same problem with #49S325 TV and remote. Finally got it to recognize our wireless network, it immediately did an update, then stuck on the language screen. On/off is the only thing that works. Please advise

Based on your post, we are not quite sure if the issue is with your remote or during your setup. 

If you are having remote issues, please contact your TV's manufacturer directly to report this issue and request additional support. Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support and warranty services for their products running the Roku OS.
