Roku stuck on “Control your TV” page

My Roku just updated, but on the next page it shows the “control your tv” page where it wants me to connect my Roku remote to my tv. I am using the device on a projector, so the device isn’t listed and I do not need to connect it. I cannot leave this page in any other way then to connect a tv. I am stuck on this page.

    Can you just lie to it?  ie: let it suggest a brand - try a code - tell it the first code worked...
