Roku Streaming Stick USB Replacement

because of my physical configuration i need to add an extension from the streaming stick+ to the power cable with the wifi antenna (WR001), and...

this connection is a mini-B USB, so...

i tried connecting a 3 foot mini-B USB extension cable to the female port on the streaming stick+ and to the male end of the power cable (WR001), but...

the roku didn't function properly...

is the mini-B USB port on the streaming stick+ a standard mini-B USB port?

    Can you please clarify the issue you are experiencing? How is everything connected at the moment with the USB extension? If you do not use the extension, are you experiencing the same issue?
