Roku Streaming Stick Stuck on Boot Logo Loop

I've seen multiple notes on this problem and tried all the recommended fixes including unplugging from power and pressing/holding reset button.

My roku is old, probably over 5 years, and I first noticed this problem over 6 months ago on a rarely used tv so I just ignored it figuring it was broken. Tonite I turned on the tv completely forgetting the status and remembered the problem. This time I dove deeper and found the recommendations including the hard reset.

I also saw the request for a model and serial number so here they are:

Model: 3810x, Serial: 213171058860

    Hi there Markseger

We’ve received an update regarding your Roku device. It appears to be experiencing a common hardware issue that can occur after several years of regular use. In this case, we suggest purchasing a new Roku device to replace the old one.

We also sent you a private message with more details—please check your inbox when you have a moment.

Just tried on another TV that has a working ROKU. Unplugged that one and plugged in new one. No change

Not sure if anything more to try. Can't provide any system info since it's stuck in startup screen.

Should I just give up and toss it?

    Welcome, Markseger!

I understand that your Roku Streaming Stick is stuck in a bouncing logo.

A factory reset might be a good step to take and see if that helps. If you need more tips on that, you can visit this support article here!

        Thanks for the update! Markseger

Can you confirm how long you pressed the reset button? Did you see it go back to the start-up screen?

Let us know what you find!

Does Roku have a phone number to speak with someone?
