Roku stick constantly overheating
About once a week my Roku stick tells me it is overheating. I unplugged it from power for a few hours and all is okay. Then a week later it does same thing

That is usually a sign that the device (any electronic device really) is starting to fail or has poor ventilation where it is located. You could try putting some type of small fan in the area and see if that helps.
