Hi, Rod27
Thanks for reaching out.
I understand the issue with your Roku remote that rewinds after skipping. I'm here to help.
Let's troubleshoot this one to see improvements. Follow the steps below:
Restart your Roku Remote
- Reset your remote: Press and hold the Back/pairing button and Home buttons simultaneously for about 20 seconds.
Re-pair your Roku remote
- Set the Roku device in pairing mode, unplug it from the power outlet for 15 seconds, and plug it in again.
- Initiate pairing by pressing and holding the Back and Home/pairing buttons for 5 seconds.

Hi Daveb101
Thanks for bringing this to us!
To assist me further, could you please provide the following information:
- The model number of the remote.
- Does it automatically rewind on a specific channel, or does this apply to all apps and shows on Roku?
- When and where did you purchase this remote?
Let's team up and work on this together!
