It was a gift, so I'm not sure where it was bought. He thinks it was Walmart or Best Buy -- likely a in-person purchase. It was activated in November 2021.

I have the 3930X (Roku Express) with a simple remote. When the remote stopped working I changed the batteries. No luck. When I reset the receiver, the language menu comes up, but the remote does not work. I've tried it holding the home and back buttons together for 5 seconds and then again for 20 seconds. I've switched the HDMI port, no luck. I also tried it on a different TV and had the same trouble.

Is this the Roku remote included with your Roku device during purchase? If so, could you please share when and where you bought this?
